Job description

Position Title: Warehouse Associate Wage: $21.00/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm The Cycle Counter / Warehouse Associate in Kenosha, WI is a hybrid role critical to the financial and operational integrity of our facility. You will be primarily responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels through daily scheduled cycle counts and root‑cause analysis of discrepancies. Additionally, you will support general warehouse operations, including picking, packing, receiving, and material handling, ensuring our production lines and customers receive the right parts on time.

Warehouse Associate Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily cycle counts based on ABC analysis schedules to ensure physical inventory matches system records
  • Research and reconcile inventory variances. Investigate "root causes" of errors (e.g., mis-picks, receiving errors) and report findings to the supervisor
  • Perform entry of count data into the ERP system (e.g., SAP, JD Edwards, or similar) within required timeframes
  • Ensure parts are in their correct bin locations and assist with bin consolidation to maximize warehouse space efficiency
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of periodic physical inventories and year-end audits
  • Safely operate forklifts (Stand-up/Sit-down), reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move heavy industrial components (dock levelers, seals, restraints)
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment or production assembly with high accuracy
  • Unload incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and inspect for damage
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements for Warehouse Associate:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, with specific experience in inventory control or cycle counting preferred
  • Forklift certification is highly preferred (or ability to become certified within 30 days)
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to count large volumes of parts accurately
  • Comfort using RF Scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel is a plus
  • A keen eye for identifying part numbers, SKUs, and subtle differences in components
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with finance, production, and shipping teams
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and crouch for extended periods (8-10 hour shifts)
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment (depending on the specific facility)
