Job summary
Wabtec is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily production through accurate material movement, including receiving, picking, kitting, line delivery, and shipping. You will maintain inventory accuracy, perform ERP transactions, and escalate material issues to keep operations running smoothly.
The role requires forklift certification or equipment proficiency, 2+ years’ manufacturing/warehouse experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in manufacturing or warehouse operations.
- Forklift certification or equipment proficiency.
- Experience with ERP or warehouse systems.
Responsibilities
- Execute receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory tasks.
- Perform inventory counts and discrepancy investigations.
- Load/unload trucks using forklifts and material handling equipment.
- Maintain organized warehouse and lineside material areas.
- Process ERP transactions for material movement and inventory changes.
- Identify shortages, damage, or discrepancies and elevate.
- Support kitting and delivery of materials to production.
- Provide on-the-job guidance and cross-training to Warehouse Associate I.
- Assist with daily task coordination for coverage and priorities.
- Communicate issues, risks, or delays to leadership.
