Job summary

Flory Industries, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to move products, unload deliveries, and stock inventory in our Live Oak, CA warehouses and facilities. You will operate forklifts, process orders, and help maintain clean, organized storage areas.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, data entry, inventory control, and safety adherence. A forklift certification and a valid Class C license are required, with preferred forklift driving experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to pass the Forklift Driver Certification test.
• Current Class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material.
• Receive, unpack, check, and store merchandise and enter materials into the warehouse management system.
• Receive and count items, and record data manually.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Utilize hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material.
• Maintain and execute materials management programs as designed within the warehouse.
• Document and maintain inventory and ensure production area organization and cleanliness.
• Fill requisitions and orders.
• Pack, crate, and ship products and materials to the warehouse, departments, or assembly line.
• Keep the warehouse area organized and clean; take out trash and recycle.
• Stockyard and store items in a safe, orderly, and accessible manner.
• Inspect machinery for repairs and guarantee safety through regular maintenance.
• Operate forklifts to pick, stock, and receive shipments; stack and retrieve supplies.
• Operate within pre-established guidelines; rely on instructions for duties.
• May operate a company vehicle to retrieve will-call stock up to 50 miles.
