Job summary

UFP Windsor, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator I to move material between inventory and production, maintain paperwork, and support production schedules. The role emphasizes safety and efficient material flow throughout the shift.

Responsibilities include loading, labeling, and transporting goods, performing pre-shift checks, and maintaining inventory yard organization. Eligible candidates must be 18+, with forklift licensing completed or in process, and may benefit from prior forklift

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade basic education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift driving experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Forklift Driver licensing process must be completed.

Responsibilities

• Move material between stations according to production schedule.
• Band, wrap and/or pack finished goods; label material.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Keep rough material and finished goods yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and Company policy.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other programs and meetings.
