Job summary

Comprehensive Logistics Co., Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to support loading, unloading, and staging operations within a warehouse environment. The role requires operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment, frequent use of tablets for inventory, and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience with Forklift and the ability to pass CLIs forklift training certification process.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read, listen, understand, and follow directions and work instructions.
• Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment, including tuggers, forklifts, cherry pickers, and stand-up reach trucks.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and stage products and materials.
• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Locate and move stock to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Use scanning equipment and inventory software via tablet and onboard computer systems.
• Report shortages or quality deficiencies to shipping or receiving.
• Transport raw materials to production workstations.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment in the facility.
• Inspect and maintain daily equipment checklists to determine repairs and safety needs.
• Comply with company safety policies and legal guidelines.
• Other duties as required.
