Job summary

ODL is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to operate a forklift, move materials, unload trucks, and ensure accurate receiving and put-away. You will verify part numbers, complete documentation, and support cross-docks and orders for on-time shipment.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, safety checks, and maintaining an orderly warehouse environment. Candidate must have a high school diploma and forklift experience; able to lift up to 75 pounds and learn Oracle/MS Office/ scanning systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; 2–3 years material handling/forklift experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills; ability to learn Oracle, MS Outlook and scanning systems.
• Solid math skills and working knowledge of part numbers and products.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move materials per move tickets, pick lists, or verbal instructions.
• Unload trucks and receive/put away products.
• Verify part numbers and quantities; complete documentation accurately.
• Process cross-docks and prepare orders for shipment.
• Perform cycle counts and maintain safety and cleanliness of the warehouse.
