Job summary

CS Power Systems, a unit of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations in Texas. You will load/unload, deliver raw materials to production lines, and operate ERP systems (SAP) to balance inventory. A 12-hour continental shift is required.

You will work in a team environment, adhere to safety rules, and contribute to efficient, ethical manufacturing practices in a fast-growing solar industry.

Qualifications

• 12-hour continental shift (2x2x3)
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems
• Forklift experience (sit-down)
• Inventory control
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years in production/material in manufacturing
• Able to work in a team and independently
• Attention to detail and safety compliance

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials
• Handle material issues to minimize losses from line shutdowns
• Adhere to Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Follow health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

TheMaterial Handleris responsible for tasksinvolving physical laborin a manufacturingplant andwill be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools.(Sit Down Forklift and EPJ).

TheMaterial Handlerwill be responsible for the efficiency of products according to established proceduresfollowing all safetyprotocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct

Qualifications & Experience

• Able to do the continental shift2x2x3, 12-hour shift
• SAP, and ERP system skills
• Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Inventory Control
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience with production/material in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
