Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Material Handler I in Mesquite, TX to support production by delivering materials and balancing inventory. The role emphasizes safe handling, adherence to company policies, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include operating ERP systems, collaborating with production lines, and maintaining accurate material controls. A HS diploma and 0–2 years’ experience meet the baseline requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Able to take continental shift.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems desirable.
• Electric Pallet Jack experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to complete responsibilities.

Material Handler I Job Description

Canadian Solar Inc. is one of the world’s largest solar modular producers. As a leading vertically integrated provider of ingots, wafers, solar cells, solar modules, solar power systems and specialized solar products, Canadian Solar delivers uncompromising value to its customers across the globe. The Material Handler I is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. The Material Operator will be responsible for the efficient of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• 0-2 years (HS graduates, minimal work experience)
• Able to take continental shift
• SAP, and ERP system skills
• Electric Pallet Jack experience
• Inventory Control
• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
