Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, is hiring a Material Handler in Mesquite, TX to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment by moving materials, delivering to production lines, and ensuring accurate inventory using SAP and ERP systems. You will operate Sit-Down Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack, follow safety rules, and work a continental shift 2x2x3 (12-hour days).

TheMaterial Handleris responsible for tasksinvolving physical laborin a manufacturingplant andwill be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools.(Sit Down Forklift and EPJ).

TheMaterial Handlerwill be responsible for the efficiency of products according to established proceduresfollowing all safetyprotocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Able to do the continental shift2x2x3, 12-hour shift
• SAP, and ERP system skills
• Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Inventory Control
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience with production/material in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
