Job summary

CS Power Systems, a division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Material Handler to support manufacturing operations. You will deliver raw materials to production lines, operate SAP/ERP systems, and maintain accurate inventory on a 12-hour continental shift.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team while upholding our Code of Business Conduct.

Qualifications

• Able to work a continental shift 2x2x3 (12-hour shifts).
• Proficient with SAP and ERP systems.
• Experience with Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-Down Forklift.
• Inventory control experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of production/materials experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to complete responsibilities and work in a team or independently.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials to production lines.
• Operate ERP to balance materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses from line shutdowns.
• Adhere to Code of Business Conduct and safety rules.
• Follow health and safety rules and procedures.
• Complete other duties and projects as assigned.

The Material Handler is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. (Sit Down Forklift and EPJ). The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficiency of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects assigned

Qualifications & Experience

• Able to do the continental shift 2x2x3, 12-hour shift
• SAP, and ERP system skills
• Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-Down Forklift experience
• Inventory Control
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 years of experience with production/material in a manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
• Attention to detail in all areas of work
