Job summary

CS Power Systems, a fast-growing division of Canadian Solar, is seeking a Material Handler to support production by delivering raw materials, operating ERP and SAP, and coordinating with manufacturing teams.

You will work 12-hour continental shifts (2x2x3) using electric pallet jacks and sit-down forklifts, while upholding safety and quality standards in our Texas facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of experience in production/materials in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with SAP and ERP systems.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jack and sit-down forklift.
• Willingness to work continental shift 2x2x3, 12-hour shifts.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Deliver raw materials to production lines as needed
• Operate with ERP system to balance raw materials.
• Handle material issues to minimize losses caused by line shut down
• Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the Canadian Solar Solution Code of Business Conduct
• Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures
• Complete other duties and projects assigned

The Material Handler is responsible for tasks involving physical labor in a manufacturing plant and will be required to operate a variety of hand and power tools. (Sit Down Forklift and EPJ). The Material Handler will be responsible for the efficiency of products according to established procedures following all safety protocols and workplace policies to ensure profitable business operations.

• Demonstrated ability to complete the above responsibilities
• Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently
