Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety‑driven team and manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and loading of outbound product. This role emphasizes building high‑performing teams, coaching staff, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

The position requires a minimum of three years in warehouse distribution and at least one year leading a team, with strong knowledge of inventory control and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Strong leadership, communication and people development skills.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to keep associates injury-free and ensure safe procedures.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and policy training.
• Maintain open communication and direct workforce to ensure efficient workflow.
• Direct and supervise warehouse associates to achieve accurate orders and timely shipping.
• Participate in hiring and appraising warehouse staff and address performance gaps.
• Monitor productivity data and adjust coaching to improve efficiency and safety targets.
• Schedule shifts and designate dock locations for inbound carriers and stock locations.
• Ensure MSS and FSQA requirements are followed and maintain equipment safety.
