Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead a safety-minded, cost-efficient warehouse operation. You will manage personnel, drive efficient receiving, storage, and loading, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while complying with food safety standards.

You will coach and develop associates, monitor performance, and collaborate with senior leaders to optimize productivity and safety in a dynamic distribution environment. On-site role with strong people leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year supervising a workforce.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, HACCP and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead with a safety mindset to ensure a safety-first culture in the warehouse.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching and training; address gaps.
• Direct and supervise the work and productivity of associates to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in building high-performing teams by interviewing and hiring warehouse personnel.
• Lead and direct associates to achieve accurate orders and timely loading.
• Monitor performance metrics and take corrective action as needed.
• Schedule shifts and manage resources using planning tools (e.g., Excel).
• Other duties assigned by manager.
