Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Manager, Warehouse to lead day-to-day warehouse operations with a safety‑first culture and focus on people, service, and cost. The role involves managing personnel, coaching associates, and driving accurate receiving, storage, and outbound loading while upholding food safety standards.

Responsibilities include hiring, performance reviews, and ensuring efficient workflow; monitoring metrics, and coordinating with management to improve cost control and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution.
• Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce.
• Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and regulatory requirements.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture to keep associates injury-free and promote a safety-first mindset.
• Oversee and develop warehouse associates through coaching, training on policy and procedures.
• Direct and supervise workflow to ensure efficient operations and scheduling.
• Hire, review performance, and address gaps with Sr. Warehouse Managers.
• Ensure accurate orders are staged and loaded for shipping and receiving.
• Monitor productivity and safety targets using reports and coaching.
