Job summary

Key People is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead a team in the operation of the headquarters warehouses. You will oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of raw, work-in-process, and finished goods, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective output.

You will drive continuous improvement, manage inventory accuracy, and coordinate with QA to resolve issues. A strong background in manufacturing warehousing and SAP/WMS experience is essential. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Solid warehouse operations experience for a manufacturing operation.
• Leadership experience supervising a team of 10 or more.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and upcoming SAP transition.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of 10 warehouse associates in the operation of the client’s warehouses.
• Develop and improve supply chain strategies aligned with corporate goals and KPIs.
• Be accountable for all controlled inventory and finished goods shipping and warehouse duties.
• Ensure quality assurance, inventory accuracy, and timely inbound/outbound transactions.
• Conduct physical cycle counts and investigate root causes of variances.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal shipping/warehousing regulations.
• Oversee equipment needs and maintenance for forklifts/cranes; propose budgets.
• Manage safe operation of large specialty forklift for special projects.
• Meet periodic shipping volume objectives and report exceptions promptly.
• Validate shipments and received goods against company quality standards.
• Serve as the go-to expert on WMS and shipping processes; perform daily system checks.
