Job summary

Qualified candidates have 4+ years of maintenance experience and have completed RETA courses and hazmat training. Must be able to work nights/weekends and pass physical tests.

Qualifications

• 4+ years maintenance mechanic experience.
• Must have completed four RETA courses.
• Must have completed hazmat responder training.

Responsibilities

• Performs all repair and adjustment of refrigeration systems, doors, dock boards, pallets, racks, sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks, and electrical work per OSHA standards.
• Inspects equipment to ensure compliance with OSHA and operational standards.
• Tests and maintains equipment using voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, and pressure gauges.
• Tests and calibrates HVAC equipment.
• Maintains tools and machinery in good condition and uses them carefully.
• Maintains batteries and chargers per OSHA standards.
• Conducts safety equipment tests to ensure OSHA and operational standards.
• Keeps accurate preventive maintenance records.
• Occasionally answers security alarm calls and performs housekeeping duties.
