Job summary

Americold Logistics LLC is seeking a maintenance mechanic to independently perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the warehouse. The role requires proficiency in electrical, plumbing, lift trucks, refrigeration, ammonia, boilers, and carpentry.

The position emphasizes OSHA-compliant repairs, regular equipment inspections, and accurate preventive maintenance records. Night and weekend shifts may be required, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance mechanic experience
• Some electrical experience
• Must have completed HAZMAT responder training

Responsibilities

• Performs all repair and adjustment of refrigeration system, doors, dock boards, pallets, forklifts, electrical work per OSHA standards
• Inspects forklifts, pallet jacks, and other operating equipment to ensure OSHA compliance
• Tests, maintains, and evaluates equipment performance using meters and gauges
• Maintains and calibrates HVAC equipment
• Keeps preventive maintenance records and conducts safety checks
