Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform routine maintenance and repairs across the warehouse. You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, lift trucks, refrigeration systems, and related equipment, following OSHA standards and safety practices.

Strong emphasis on problem solving, equipment inspection, documentation, and safe operation. Must be able to work nights or weekends as required and pass a physical exam.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance mechanic experience in warehouse environments.
• Some electrical experience is required.
• Hazmat responder training completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs repair and adjustments of refrigeration systems, doors, dock boards, pallet racks, sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks and electrical work per OSHA standards.
• Inspects forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment for OSHA and operational compliance.
• Tests and evaluates equipment performance using voltmeters, ohmmeters and pressure gauges.
• Maintains and calibrates HVAC equipment.
• Keeps tools and machinery in good condition and handles them safely.
