Responsibilities include inspecting equipment, calibrating HVAC systems, maintaining tools, and keeping detailed preventive maintenance records.

Qualifications

3+ years maintenance mechanic experience.
Some electrical experience required.
HAZMAT responder training completed.

Responsibilities

Perform repair and adjustment of refrigeration systems, doors, dock boards, pallet racks, sweepers, sprinkler systems, forklifts, pallet trucks and electrical work per OSHA standards.
Inspect forklifts, pallet jacks, and equipment to ensure OSHA and operational compliance.
Test, maintain, and evaluate equipment with instruments (voltmeters, ohmmeters, pyrometers, pressure gauges).
Test and calibrate HVAC equipment.
Maintain tools and machinery and use them safely.
Maintain batteries and chargers per OSHA standards.
Test safety equipment (exit signs, fire extinguishers) to ensure OHSA/operational standards.
Keep accurate preventive maintenance records.
Respond to security alarm calls as needed.
Keep work area clean and perform housekeeping duties.
Perform related work and other assignments as required.
