Job summary

Performance Foodservice in La Crosse, WI seeks a Loader, Non-Formula to join our warehouse team. You will load pallets into trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, or by hand, and prepare outgoing freight for shipping while following safety and quality standards.

Qualified applicants have a High School Diploma or GED, 6+ months of warehouse experience, and the ability to lift 10–35 lbs repeatedly and up to 60–90 lbs as needed in a multi-temperature environment. Background checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly for shift.
• Able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to be shipped into the trailer with forklift, pallet jack or by hand in correct sequence.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Wrap pallets with cellophane and secure loads.
• Locate proper trailer slot and secure load upon completion.
• Inspect pallets, keep area clean, follow safety policies.
• Complete end-of-shift paperwork and return equipment in good condition.
