Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula at our Johnson City distribution center. You will transport items into trailers using pallet jacks and forklifts, or by hand, maintaining safety and quality standards.

This role supports the flow of products through the distribution process, ensures productivity targets, and works as part of a team in a multi-temperature environment (cooler, freezer, dry). Comfortable with standing and lifting 10–90 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures loads with labels.
• Locates trailer slots, secures loads, and clears waste pallets as needed.
• Inspects pallets and maintains clean, safe work area; follows safety policies.
