Job summary

Performance Food Group, a leading distributor in the Performance Foodservice network, is hiring a Loader, Non-Formula to transport and prepare pallets for shipping. You will operate forklift or pallet jack, move items to loading docks, and ensure loads are secured and accurately labeled.

The role requires standing and lifting through shifts, working in multi-temperature environments, and completing safety checks. Commitment to safety and team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and repeatedly lift during shift; able to lift 10–35 lb and up to 60–90 lb depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items into the trailer using forklift, pallet jack or by hand per loading plan.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Wrap pallets and secure loads with proper labeling.
• Locate trailer slots, position and secure loads, and clear pallets as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and keep dock area clean; follow safety policies and procedures.
