Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula at our Springfield-area facility. You will transport goods into trailers using pallet jacks or forklifts, prep pallets for shipping, and ensure accuracy and safety standards throughout the shift.

You will operate in a dynamic warehouse environment with multi-temperature spaces and mandatory safety practices, supporting efficient distribution for customers nationwide.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly; able to lift 10–35 pounds and up to 60–90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to be shipped into the trailer using forklift, pallet jack or by hand following loading plan.
• Move outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Wrap pallets and ensure shipping labels are in place.
• Locate trailer slots, secure loads, and prep for transport.
• Remove empty pallets and packing materials; maintain clean work areas.
• Adhere to safety policies, perform equipment safety checks, and prepare for operations.
• Punctual, productive performance meeting location standards and company guidelines.
