Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula in Kendallville, IN. You will transport items to trailers using a forklift or pallet jack, secure loads, and maintain accurate staging and safety practices.

The role requires lifting up to 90 lbs, working Sunday–Thursday on 2nd shift, and adherence to safety protocols. On-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities to grow within our food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift; able to lift 10–35 lbs and up to 60–90 lbs depending on location.
• Experience loading semitrailers using PMHE.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments, i.e., cooler, freezer and dry.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsabilités

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand in the correct stop sequence.
• Moves outgoing products from staging area to loading dock with forklift.
• Wraps pallets with cellophane and secures load with labels as needed.
• Locates trailer slots, places and secures loads.
• Removes empty pallets and packing materials to proper area.
• Inspects pallets for damage and moves them to storage areas.
• Keeps warehouse and loading dock clean and safe per guidelines.
• Follows safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Performs safety checks and prepares supplies for operations.
• Completes paperwork and secures equipment at end of shift.
