Job summary

Performance Food Group in Batesville, MS is seeking a Loader, Non-Formula to help move goods through the distribution process. You will operate forklifts or pallet jacks, prepare pallets for shipping, and ensure accuracy and safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires standing, lifting moderate weights, and the ability to work varying shifts with overtime. Training and safety guidelines are provided in a team-focused setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months of warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to work scheduled hours and overtime as needed.
• Lift 10–35 lbs and frequently up to 60–90 lbs, with varying temperatures.
• Post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Transport items to the trailer using forklift, pallet jack, or by hand.
• Move outgoing products from staging to loading dock with forklift.
• Wrap pallets, secure loads, and ensure shipping labels are in place.
• Secure loads in trailer and manage pallet placement.
• Keep work area clean and report unsafe conditions.
