Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Loader Formula to support efficient distribution operations in Elkton, MD. You will move pallets and freight, operate pallet jacks or forklifts, and ensure loads are secured and labeled for shipping.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, maintaining clean work areas, and adhering to production schedules. The role involves multi-temperature environments and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Must be able to work the scheduled/assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Able to lift, stack, and/or pull products weighing 10-35 pounds and up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Transports items to be shipped into the trailer with a forklift, pallet jack or by hand following loading plan.
• Locates trailer slots, secures loads, and ensures proper labeling and placement.
• Performs housekeeping and safety checks, maintains clean work area and reports unsafe conditions.
