Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Jeffersonville, IN to coach and train warehouse associates and provide backup to supervisors as needed. The role includes supervising daily tasks, safety checks, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

You will operate powered industrial equipment, participate in inventory counts, and oversee paperwork compliance while supporting safety and quality standards across departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct PIT and annual recertification trainings.
• Move products using powered equipment and manage loading/unloading procedures.
• Perform inventory/cycle counts and report variances.
• Complete shipping paperwork and maintain safety and quality documentation.
• Serve as backup to other warehouse roles and ensure safety inspections.
