Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Jeffersonville, IN is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train teammates in daily tasks and lead by example. The role involves coaching warehouse associates, forklift drivers, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards across shipping, receiving, inventory, and packing functions.

The Lead will perform PIT and recertification training, support supervisor coverage, and help maintain accurate inventory while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and annual recertification training.
• Perform daily safety inspections on forklift trucks.
• Participate in inventory/cycle count activities and report variances.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move products for distribution.
• Complete shipping/tracking paperwork per SOPs and regulatory agencies.
• Serve as backup to the supervisor and provide coverage as needed.
