Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Indiana is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse teams, manage daily tasks, and support safety and compliance programs. You will train forklift operators, perform PIT certifications, and coordinate inventory activities to ensure accurate counts and efficient distribution.

You will back up the supervisor and support multiple departments, with a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not required but preferred.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution operations experience.
• 6 months leadership or supervisory experience in a distribution environment.
• Must be licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates to fulfill their daily tasks and lead by example.
• Train new forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory agencies (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Manage inventory/cycle counts and report variances to leadership.
• Provide backup to supervisor and other warehouse roles as needed.
