Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead in Perris, CA to coach and train warehouse associates, including forklift drivers, and back up supervisory tasks. The role involves operating powered industrial equipment, completing shipping paperwork, and supporting inventory activities.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in warehouse operations, 6 months of leadership experience, and a valid forklift license. This on-site position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork within a dynamic logistics

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse/distribution operations.
• 6 months lead/supervisor experience or training in a distribution environment.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or able to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Coach and train warehouse associates and forklift drivers.
• Conduct safety, PIT and annual recertification training.
• Move materials using powered industrial equipment and manage loading/unloading.
• Complete shipping paperwork and labels per SOPs and regulatory rules.
• Participate in inventory counts and report variances to leadership.
• Perform daily safety inspections and keep the facility inspection-ready.
• Communicate incidents to supervisor and ensure proper product rotation.
• Review daily production reports and provide backup support to other roles.
