Job summary

Kenco Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Lead to coach and train warehouse associates, manage daily tasks, and provide backup to the supervisor. The role covers shipping/receiving, inventory control, and general warehouse functions with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

You will train forklift operators, perform PIT certifications, and participate in daily production reporting while ensuring accurate paperwork and adherence to SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred and be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse/distribution operations experience and 6 months experience related leadership or supervisory experience.
• Must be a licensed forklift operator or be able to obtain a Forklift Operator license.

Responsibilities

• Train new warehouse associates and forklift drivers and conduct PIT and annual recertification training.
• Conduct safety observations and operational inspections.
• Operate powered industrial equipment to move materials and manage shipping/receiving tasks.
• Complete paperwork per SOP and regulatory requirements (DOT, IATA, IMDG).
• Provide backup to supervisor and support inventory counts and reporting.
