Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc in New Jersey is seeking a Lead to manage a warehouse team during the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM). You will oversee daily operations, ensure inventory accuracy, assign tasks, and coach staff to maintain high performance and customer satisfaction.

The role requires at least 2 years of warehouse experience, proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and handheld scanners, and some supervisory background.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with WMS and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Flexible schedule including planned and unplanned overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse operations to maintain accurate inventory and timely orders.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and drive performance improvement.
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain docs.
• Promote exceptional customer service and enforce safety policies.
• Operate equipment safely and provide back-up to management.
• Track orders and investigate issues.
• Maintain a clean 5S workplace and safe practices.
