Summary :

Warehouse leads are professionals who are responsible for overseeing the general operations of a warehouse and its staff. They handle the recording and maintaining of inventory, advising the imports received and items exported. They might also train new workers and ensure their performance is adequate.

Responsibilities :

• Leading warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Managing, evaluating and reporting on warehouse productivity.
• Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods and materials.
• Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory, and deliveries for accuracy.
• Maintaining records, reporting relevant information, and preparing any necessary documentation.
• Ensuring basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Performing a daily inspection of the warehouse grounds.
• Coordinating and maintaining fleets and equipment.
• Communicating and coordinating with other departments.
• Constantly work to improve processes
• Make suggestions for productivity improvements
• Optimize employee workflow
• Train, guide and evaluate new warehouse workers
• Other duties as assigned

Abilities / Skills / Knowledge Requirements :

• Commercial Driver's License
• Proven work experience as a warehouse lead
• Highly effective leadership skills and techniques
• Knowledge of warehouse software packages and Google Suite proficiency
• Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data
• Hands-on commitment to getting the job done
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience working in a FDA compliant facility preferred
• Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields, a plus
