Retail Warehouse - Salvage Department Lead

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is hiring a team member for our salvage department at the East Cleveland warehouse. This role involves handling and processing incoming donations, inventory control, and supporting the salvage workforce.

This is a full-time day shift position with benefits including:

  • Bonus incentives

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with tow motors preferred
  • Ability to judge distance, speed, and object movement
  • Monitoring machine indicators for proper operation
  • Attention to detail at close range and ability to guide vehicle parking
  • Ability to work independently

Essential Functions include:

  • Collaborating with the salvage team and leadership to meet budget goals
  • Assisting with employee time records, attendance, and assignments
  • Managing aftermarket operations
  • Ensuring proper donation handling and processing
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a safe, organized work area
  • Supporting management with inspections, incident reports, and team meetings
  • Training employees through demonstrations and instructions
  • Adhering to safety and security policies
  • Performing other duties as assigned
