Job summary

Bauer Built in Rochester, MN is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control. You’ll lead by example in safety, productivity, and quality, guiding a team to meet daily goals and coordinate cross-department workflow.

The role requires 2+ years in warehousing and strong communication and organizational skills, with forklift/Pallet jack experience.

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and inventory control.
• Serve as a hands-on leader, setting an example for safety, productivity, and quality standards.
• Assign and monitor tasks to warehouse associates to meet daily goals.
• Train new employees and provide ongoing guidance to team members.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Communicate with supervisors and other departments to resolve issues and coordinate workflow.
• Enforce safety protocols and company policies consistently.
• Delivery driver duties as assigned.
• Tire Technician work as needed.

What You’ll Do:

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment
• Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Basic computer skills; experience with inventory systems a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods
