Job summary

Alamo Group Inc. is seeking a Warehouse/Stockroom Coordinator to lead daily stockroom activities and train staff in inventory control processes.

You will oversee ERP/MRP transactions, perform cycle counts, and ensure accurate audits to support production schedules. Responsibilities include supervising receiving, stocking, and staging of parts, ensuring OSHA-compliant labeling and storage, and operating forklifts with proper certification.

Qualifications

• Team Leadership: Coordinate daily stockroom activities, train new staff, and assign tasks to ensure timely material distribution to production.
• Inventory Management: Oversee ERP/MRP transactions, conduct cycle counts, perform physical audits, and investigate discrepancies to maintain high accuracy.
• Material Flow: Supervise the receiving, stocking, and staging of parts, ensuring materials are readily available for production schedules.
• Quality & Safety: Ensure materials are labeled, packaged, and stored according to company and OSHA requirements.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain forklift certification.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, purchasing, shipping, and quality departments to resolve shortages and optimize warehouse organization.
