Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory processes and safety practices.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform core warehouse functions including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory handling.
  • Provide day-to-day direction to team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact on the floor in the absence of a Supervisor.
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new employees, as well as ongoing coaching for current staff.
  • Monitor workflow and adjust priorities to meet daily production and shipping goals.
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Use WMS and handheld scanners to track inventory and order status.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and proper product handling.
  • Identify and communicate operational issues, bottlenecks, or inefficiencies to leadership.
  • Assist in implementing process improvements to increase productivity and reduce errors.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Check equipment for proper operation and report maintenance needs.
  • Assist in resolving minor employee concerns and escalate more complex issues as needed.
