Job summary

DuPont Spectrum is seeking a Warehouse Lead to oversee storage, control, and distribution of materials in a demanding production setting. You will lead a team of material handlers, coordinate with production scheduling, and ensure accurate inventory management and compliance with quality systems.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong organizational skills, and experience with receiving, cycle counts, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and planning abilities essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of staff.
  • Proficient with inventory reporting systems and MS Office.
  • Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
  • Knowledge of IQMS or similar ERP software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all product and materials for inventory.
  • Lead and coach all material handlers.
  • Support production scheduling on material flow to meet schedules.
  • Oversee receiving and storage of raw materials, coordinating with Shipping/Receiving.
  • Maintain physical inventory and perform cycle counts.
  • Standardize material part numbers and descriptions in IQMS.
  • Monitor dryer inventories and re-classify items as needed.
  • Work in clean room environments following applicable rules.

Job Purpose

The Warehouse Lead will oversee the storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.

The Warehouse Lead will oversee the storage, control, and distribution of materials and products according to company needs and customer requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversees all product and materials for inventory.
  • Leads and coaches all material handlers.
  • Provides support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Oversees procedures for receiving and storing raw materials.
  • Works with Shipping and Receiving to receive raw materials.
  • Leads and maintains the physical inventory of materials by leading & performing cycle counts.
  • Leads efforts to standardize material part numbers and descriptions in IQMS.
  • Reviews the dryer needs and requirements daily so completed jobs can be removed from the dryers, re-weighed and brought back into inventory.
  • Must be able to work in a clean room environment, following all rules and regulations applicable to Apex Resource Technologies and its employees.
  • Maintains communicate between Material Handlers from other shifts.
  • Establishes procedures and leads the annual physical inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. at constant intervals throughout the shift
  • Must have good vision
  • Must have manual dexterityMust be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Repetitive motions are required
  • Must be able to move 1100 lb. gaylords with a pallet jack
  • Requires frequent bending, squatting, and twisting motions
  • Must be able to climb stepladders
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs
Other Special Requirements
  • Must be available for overtime as needed
  • Environment: Noise level is uncontrolled (Ear plugs are provided)
  • Must be able to learn and use different types of fork trucks and material handling equipment
  • When required, must be flexible to fill in as press operator or secondary operator
  • Perform job duties in accordance to ISO 13485/9001 including ISO audits
  • Ensures that all safety procedures are followed
  • Ensures that all equipment safeties are not altered or defeated
  • Reports any safety issues to proper personnel or supervisors as soon as possible
