• Ability to manage shipping/receiving, inventory accuracy, and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train warehouse staff across core functions: shipping, receiving, inventory control, cycle counting, and material handling
• Process and track transactions using RF scanners, pick tickets, and warehouse management systems
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and staging of outgoing shipments
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments to maintain accuracy and quality standards
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load/unload materials
• Coordinate daily with Customer Service and Fabrication teams to meet delivery timelines
• Maintain compliance with safety regulations, housekeeping standards, and company policies
• Execute cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy, including backorder fulfillment
• Troubleshoot shipping/receiving discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Utilize systems such as JD Edwards, Varsity, and rate-shopping tools (e.g., Ratelinx) for logistics and shipping operations
• Coordinate freight logistics, including carrier selection, LTL shipments, and delivery scheduling
• Manage warehouse supplies, consumables, and minor facility maintenance needs
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide leadership coverage and operational support in manager’s absence
