The Stock Lead is a key leadership role supporting the Inventory Manager to achieve this goal. This role involves people development, expense management, and operational responsibilities, reporting directly to the Delivery Center Inventory Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Train and support team members through hands-on teaching and coaching.
• Assist in training high-quality team members who embody our values.
• Maintain standards in cycle counts, accounting, and merchandising procedures.
• Execute inventory scans and ensure accuracy of physical and digital inventory locations.
• Ensure proper execution of Standard Operating Procedures related to inventory processes.
• Oversee the return delivery truck process.
• Communicate damage information to Warehouse Operations and Inventory Managers.
• Manage and train staff for a consistent wrapping process for all stock.
• Coordinate clearance inventory transfers from stores to the delivery center.
• Manage and coordinate the return of unopened merchandise to the Distribution Center.
• Maintain a clean, organized facility to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Experience leading teams of up to 10 associates preferred.
• Skill in assessing talent and coaching.
• Effective delegation, follow-up, and communication skills across all levels.
• Knowledge of furniture delivery standards preferred.
• Availability to work 35-40 hours weekly, including evenings and weekends as needed.
