Warehouse Lead

Lead and support the communication flow to load the finished product onto trailers and prepare documentation (bill of lading and invoice).

Essential Functions
  • Ability to complete all essential functions of the Warehouse Associate position.
  • Leading a group of shipping and receiving team members.
  • Responsible for the communication flow to load the finished product onto trailers.
  • Communicate instructions to equipment inside the warehouse.
  • Coordinate the location where each trailer will be loaded.
  • Prepare documentation to issue purchase orders (Bill of Lading and invoice).
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure timely collection and/or loading of finished products.
  • Review operator and carrier line data in the Tracking Platform.
  • Ensure food safety practices and all applicable SQF System requirements are maintained.
  • Communicate any deviations, problems, or abnormalities with equipment, processes, and products.
  • Perform any tasks that are reasonable, safe, and assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in the field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years of experience in the position.
  • 4 years of experience managing people/projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 years of experience in the field or similar manufacturing environment.
  • 6 years of experience working in the position.
  • 6 years of experience managing people/projects.

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Oracle.
  • Knowledge of storage systems.
