Job description

Warehouse Lead Person

As a Warehouse Lead Person, you will provide hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel. You will actively lead the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.

What You'll Do

1. Safely and efficiently utilize warehouse material handling equipment.
2. Train assigned personnel to accurately and consistently use warehouse management systems.
3. Train personnel in the safe and efficient use of material handling equipment and supplies.
4. Serve as a coach and mentor.
5. Communicate work expectations and results achieved.
6. Lead lean thinking initiatives to remove waste from all aspects of the position.

You Must Have

• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• No disciplinary steps.

You May Also Have

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Prior experience in a safety-focused environment.
• Leadership experience.
• Completed or in-progress of the Achieve program.

Role Specifics

• Schedule: Sunday to Wednesday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
• Location: Dry Warehouse.
• Pay Range: $26.50 - $29.50 per hour plus differentials.
