Job Description

General Statement of Job: Warehouse Lead will handle the activities and operations of the warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Act as Warehouse Supervisor in the absence of the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor.

Essential Job Functions

• Coach and train new hires on warehouse standard operating procedures.
• Manage daily warehouse functions, including receiving shop tools, supplies, and inventory items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse for quick access to inventory and supplies.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure product availability.
• Participate in inventories as scheduled by the company.
• Organize stock and merchandise, properly unboxing and storing goods.
• Keep accurate records of stocked products and provide management with reports on shipped and received goods.
• Verify incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Report missing or lost inventory to management.
• Pack items for shipping according to company standards.
• Organize items on shelves, bins, and overhangs per standards.
• Maintain accurate database records of stock and warehouse items.
• Retrieve items reliably for processing and shipping.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED, college, technical/trade school, foreign credentials).
• Forklift experience is a plus.

Standards of Performance

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and similar software.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Accurate typing and record-keeping skills.
