Job description

Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking a MARSOC Warehouse Specialist for an opportunity in support of Marine Corps Logistics Command onsite at Camp LeJeune, NC. An active Secret level clearance is required to be eligible for this opportunity. This position falls under the Department of Labor's Service Contract Act (SCA).

The Warehouse Specialist will perform all warehousing activities, including issuing, receiving, storing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment in support of the Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP). The primary objective of CSP is to provide organization and individual issue, recovery, storage, requisitioning, maintenance and repair, management (including visibility, accountability, automated shelf-life management, and forecasting) for various families of items such as Infantry Combat Equipment (ICE), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Equipment (CBRN-D), Special Training Allowance Pool Equipment (STAP), and Soft Walled Shelters and Camouflage Netting (SWS&CN).

Under the Marine Corps Logistics Command (MCLC), CSP manages fielded ICE, CBRN-D, STAP, and SWS&CN. It operates via a global network of regional and base facilities, ensuring Marines worldwide have access to serviceable equipment to meet their mission requirements.

Specific Duties:
  1. Perform all warehousing activities: issuing, receiving, storing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping gear and equipment.
  2. Receive and unpack shipments accurately and promptly.
  3. Validate shipment quantities against shipping documentation.
  4. Store equipment in appropriate locations within the warehouse.
  5. Conduct accurate packing and shipping of equipment.
  6. Pick customer orders.
  7. Process customer returns.
  8. Track inventory using warehouse management systems.
  9. Load and unload equipment as needed.
  10. Organize inventory according to warehouse procedures.
  11. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Education/Qualifications:
  • Experience with the "SSAVIE" IT SYSTEM (Special Operations Forces Sustainment, Asset Visibility and Information Exchange).
  • At least two years of warehouse experience, including packing, shipping, receiving, order fulfillment, inventory tracking, and shipment management.
  • USMC MOS 3043 or 3051, Army MOS 92Y, Air Force AFSC 2S051, or Navy Logistics Specialist (LS).
  • US Citizenship.
  • Active Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to pass a NAC investigation for base and DoD system access.
  • Detail-oriented with good time-management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Understanding of inventory control systems.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to operate warehouse tools and equipment, such as stretch wrap, banding tools, forklifts, and pallet jacks.
  • Forklift safety certification and OSHA safety knowledge.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems and managing multiple warehouse operations.
Work Environment:

Moderate to loud noise levels (e.g., construction sites, warehouses), outdoor weather conditions, and routine warehouse tasks. Requires standing and walking for extended periods, and the ability to hear, see, and handle equipment safely.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience as a military supply occupational specialty is preferred.
