Job summary

Astreya seeks an experienced Warehouse Desktop Support Technician to join the services team. This role focuses on break/fix support for warehouse equipment including packing stations, barcode scanners, and AGV/AMR/AS/RS gear.

You will set up Mac and PC systems, deploy images, back up data, and keep asset records current. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in high-volume IT support, strong communication skills, and familiarity with Windows 11, Mac OS X, and Linux basics.

Qualifications

• / 3–5+ years of IT support in high-volume environments.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting applications, hardware, and mobile technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with Windows 11, Mac OS X, and Linux fundamentals.
• Knowledge of hardware installation and upgrades.
• Familiarity with iOS/Android devices and image deployment tools.
• Ability to diagnose, prioritize and manage deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide break/fix support for warehouse equipment including packing stations and barcode scanners.
• Set up and configure MAC OS and PC systems.
• Utilize zero-touch deployment for MACs and PCs.
• Manage imaging and reimaging of MAC laptops and Windows PCs.
• Perform backup and restoration of end-user data.
• Maintain asset information in the ticketing system.
• Refresh end-user devices per schedule.
• Assist with weekly/monthly inventory activities.
• Document end-user issues in Flexera.
• Create and maintain MAC-related processes.
• Provide level 1 tech support and ensure high-quality user experience.
• Prioritize and complete requests in SLA.
• Document and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
