Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced IT Support Analyst to serve as the primary on-site tech resource for a warehouse environment in Walnut, CA. You will support ~60 thin clients, ~100 handheld scanners, printers, mobile devices, and conference room tech.

The role demands independent work, strong customer service, and detailed device documentation. Travel up to 25% to manufacturing plants for installations and support is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in End User Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or related role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and mobile device management (iOS/Android).
• Experience with printer and scanner installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of conference room technologies and video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx).
• Experience with imaging, deployment, and configuration management tools.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and enterprise software deployment processes.
• Proficiency with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
• Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a warehouse environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to manufacturing facilities for on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site end-user device support and troubleshooting for PCs, laptops, thin clients, mobile devices, tablets, and peripherals.
• Perform device setup, imaging, configuration, deployment, and refresh for new hires and current staff.
• Support Windows environments and mobile platforms (iOS/Android).
• Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues including printers, scanners, and warehouse tech.
• Coordinate hardware replacements, upgrades, and repairs as needed.
• Maintain device performance and inventory records.
• Install and maintain printers, scanners, and conference room tech.
• Monitor and address operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with video conferencing systems and collaboration tools.
