Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Sr. IS Technician to deliver 1st and 2nd line support across California offices, managing IMS tickets and asset changes in AMS. You will configure and deploy PCs, mobiles, printers, and VoIP/AV gear, while supporting remote access, Citrix, and VMs. Travel to other offices is occasional.

You will train new hires, document IS procedures, and handle after-hours support in a fast-paced environment with strong customer focus.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with strong academic background required.
• Alternatively, a Technical School Certificate or equivalent along with 5 years of experience in the IT Support field.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st & 2nd level customer support for all IS issues, using IMS to record, assign & resolve issues.
• Record all changes to hardware assets in the AMS.
• Configure, test, deploy and support computers, smartphones, printers and other hardware.
• Support telecoms and voicemail moves, adds & changes.
• Support remote access & remote computing solutions including Citrix, Outlook Web Access, secure email, Virtual Machines.
• Provide setup and support for A/V issues in the local offices, including meetings and presentations.
• Learn & support new technology relating to the client and provide support.
• Participate in IS meetings & calls as required.
• Provide on-call and after hours assistance for local offices.
• Identify and document office-specific IS procedures in the IS Knowledgebase.
