Qualifications

• Previous warehouse inventory control experience required.
• Strong cycle counting, inventory reconciliation, and warehouse processes.
• Experience with inventory management software, barcode scanners, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage priorities, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to perform warehouse duties, including standing, walking, bending, and handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily inventory control activities and assign work to inventory personnel.
• Plan and oversee cycle counts and physical inventories, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate approved adjustments.
• Verify inventory locations, item numbers, quantities, and units of measure.
• Identify and resolve receiving, stocking, picking, and transfer errors that affect inventory accuracy.
• Maintain organized storage locations and accurate bin assignments.
• Monitor damaged, misplaced, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory; coordinate appropriate action with management and purchasing.
• Review inventory reports, identify recurring problems, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate replenishment of picking locations to support efficient order fulfillment.
• Train employees on inventory procedures, product identification, scanning, and accurate recordkeeping.
• Establish clear performance expectations and provide coaching and follow-up.
• Enforce company safety procedures and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Assist with warehouse operations and inventory projects as needed.
