Description

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for following guidelines, policies, and procedures for Asset Management software, and assisting in monitoring and maintaining the accuracy of inventory located in the warehouses. Responsible for providing administrative support and coordination for all asset management services for Corporate Interiors, including both on-site inventory and customer-based storage.

Responsibilities

• Track incoming and outgoing assets by downloading information from inventory scanner into the computer database.
• Develop and maintain a customer storage database by creating a standards product catalog, including menu and condition codes specific to each customer.
• Provide monthly inventory reports to customers using Crystal Report Writer and Snaptracker Software, upon request.
• Generate individualized customer reports based on customer needs.
• Provide month-end customer storage details, including square footage and rack capacity, to the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist and train Corporate Interiors’ employees on using the Snaptracker system and work order system.
• Maintain database for measuring and monitoring data such as storage capacity, available space, and usage percentages.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts to ensure accuracy of customer storage accounts and CI assets.
• Assist with warehousing tasks including unloading trailers, locating and pulling stock, and maintaining housekeeping.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 2+ years in warehousing or asset/inventory management.
• Quick learner with attention to detail.
• Basic PC skills: Microsoft Excel, Crystal Reporting, database understanding.
• Knowledge of asset management/inventory systems preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and thoroughness.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate material handling equipment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork ability.
