Job Description

The Inventory Specialist will play a vital role in the inventory program. They will oversee processes and procedures for the designated program, working with large-volume, small-part inventories. The ideal candidate should be skilled in organizing large data sets and extracting key information, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

The primary responsibilities include tracking all inventory used by contractors for running WIFI cables and related materials (such as splitters, construction materials, vaults, markers, etc.) on contractor sites—not in client warehouses. This involves labeling, organizing, and placing inventory correctly on sites, which may include small warehouses with docks.

Responsibilities
  • Verify stock information and unit identification numbers; inventory and audit equipment and parts.
  • Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production.
  • Receive units using RF handheld devices.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform cycle counts and audits following company policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize workflow effectively.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods.
  • Flexible schedule.
  • Computer skills, including Excel, are a plus.
